ProBlogger 31 Days To Build A Better Blog31 Days To Build A Better Blog, ProBlogger Challenge Begins Today!

As I mentioned earlier, today marks the beginning of the 31DBBB ProBlogger challenge! I invite you to jump in and join us!

However, this year we’re doing it as a 90-day challenge instead to give us plenty of time to enjoy these hot summer months! (Three days per chapter, so a little over 90 days.)

The challenge is free except that you need the version 2.0 of the book (which isn’t pricey) and you can start at any time!

Grab the book here: http://askkim.co/31dbbb (aff)

However, I – with the other brave soles that have jumped in to join me – am starting today!

What Darren Rowse, the author of ProBlogger, has to say…

“So, you want to improve your blog, but you’ve been putting it in the ”one day” basket? Maybe you just don’t know where to begin. In either case, you’re not alone.

You’re also in the right place.

A few years ago, when I asked on Twitter whether there were any bloggers interested in a month of
concentrated teaching and practical exercises to improve their blogs I was inundated with expressions of
interest. Over 13,000 bloggers signed up, and the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Challenge was born.

These days, little has changed. All bloggers want to improve their blogs, but many never quite get around
to it.

I went through this in the early days of my own blogging, but eventually there came a point where I just had
to get serious, and put time aside to work on my blog.

That’s what this challenge is about.

The idea is simple. By the end of this challenge, you’ll have learned 31 aspects of blogging, and put them
into practice. This program is designed not only to fill your head with knowledge about blogging, but to give
you some concrete ways to actually do something with that knowledge.”

The course is also perfect for experienced bloggers that are ready to do some tune-ups to their blog and want to be sure they didn’t miss any important steps along the way!

The topics for the challenge are both interesting and comprehensive… check them out here: http://just-ask-kim.com/31dbbb-topics/

Whew what an agenda! We best get started!

I hope you’ll join us either now or some time in the near future! 31DBBB is a foundation blog training manual for anyone that wants to get their blog on the right track for success. To find out more about this challenge, and where to find the book, check out my prior post!

Are you excited? I know I am!  I look forward to your thoughts and feedback below! I hope you’ll join us for this challenge or at least stop in regularly to cheer all of the participants on!

Have you used a challenge as a leverage tool to get your business some traction or reach a certain goal? What challenges have worked best for you? Which did you find were hardest? What is your favorite tip or strategy for succeeding when the going gets tough? Lets share thoughts in the comment box below!

Make it an awesome 31 Days!

I completed Sarah Arrow’s 30 Day Blogging Challenge in May/June this year. It was a first for me. I’m not strong on consistent daily action. Often I found myself at the very end of my day, falling asleep, but determined to finish a blog post. The weird thing is, as soon as the challenge was over, I lapsed into my old habits again. So much for 21 days creating a habit! I entered the same challenge for Round 2, but only made it to Day 10. I also felt as if I wasn’t going anywhere with it — I was posting just for the sake of posting.

Darren Rowse’s challenge may not be a true fit for my writing blog, but I’m sure there will be plenty in there that I can modify if not use directly. So #31DBBB here I come!
