Tips for Success
With Content Marketing
Once you know your particular audience, there are a number of factors that will help you decide what content to cover when.
While a fair portion of your content should be “evergreen”, you will consistently have times that you need to focus on different aspects that are “current”, “seasonal”, or “breaking news”.
As a marketer, one of the most important of these is the content creation cycle that leads up to and builds around the release of a new product or service (either yours or an affiliate offering).
A planned release of quality non-promotional content before a release helps get your audience thinking about the aspect you want to focus their attention on.
Promotional content is not only different between audiences but also different between marketers and channels.
Post promotional content is often designed to help soften the promotional content while creating “supporting evidence”.
Whether you are launching a new product, opening a new service, or promoting a special… launch cycles play a very important (though often infrequent) role in your content creation.
