Business Success Roadtrip v1
Hour 2 – When The Why Doesn’t Come Easy
As part of my major road trip to Savannah, GA Wordcamp and visiting with various friends and favorite places I documented my mindset and observations and how they relate to successful business development.
The visual/video of these came out poorly (what do you expect, its dark at 11pm!) but I challenge you to just listen to what I’m saying. (Hour 1 and either hour 8 or 9 are both corrupt and thus a casualty of the road trip, fortunately there’s plenty more where those came from!)
Staying fired up about what we’re building can seem hard when the future seems like a whole lot of of work. Give this video a listen to learn more about finding your driving force… particularly if you’re a person to which dreaming doesn’t come easy.
It should be noted that when dealing with dreads – although they make a strong driving force – careful attention has to be given to making their use a conscious choice and to staying in the forward abundant flow or they will cause one to behave in stupid, erratic manners. Fear is powerful but it can not be allowed to spin out of control if one wishes to harness it for leverage. I know many will not agree with its use at all – preferring only the dream building side – I merely present you with what has worked for me and often works if you are on of the few for whom dream building is difficult.
You can find out more about my Business Success Roadtrip series as well as links to others in the series and eventually information on how to download the whole set as mp3s for your own listening over on the announcement page for the Business Success Roadtrip volume 1!
Like it? Love it? How are YOU staying fired up about your business in the face of the work required? If you found this tip useful I hope you’ll share and bookmark the page for others to enjoy!
Here’s to your unlimited success!

Great video Kim,
You are right your why has to be so enormous that it gets you through the hard times.

All I can tell you is that you always inspire me Kimberly.
I am a big believer in having a big why, to the point that quitting is more painful than not quitting.

Kimberly this is without a doubt the best video I have seen… I LOVE IT!!! And you know what I think it was….. because you are just being you. There was no smoke and mirrors, no BS’ing…. just you. It was friggen awesome!
I think for me I look at fear a little different, I definitely have it at times but I am one of those people who just think or dream about doing something, then do it and then get scared and work out the consequences after the fact…. Weird I know, but I can’t sit still. Once I know what I want I just do it, and one of the reasons is because I figure no one else is going to do it for me are they, no one else out there judging me is going to create my success, which is why I don’t care about what other people think! I have a fire lit under my ass at the moment that just has me in over drive, very little sleep but it doesn’t matter because I am loving what I am producing behind the scenes here.
After seeing this video I am starting to wonder why you said you were not going to do any more posts or anything on mindset. I am really looking forward to the rest of these videos if they are anything like this. In the 12 minutes you were talking you had me laughing, empathising, sympathising, fired up, and of course wondering why more people out there aren’t like you
This was awesome and can’t wait for the rest.
cheers

Hey Kimberly~
I just need to tell you that my ‘why’ is because I can! I am able to become successful online even with my MS experience! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, “I’ll prove it!”
Thank you Kimberly for all you’ve done to help my success!

What keeps me fired up even thought there is a lot of work to do is the money. I may sound greedy but I am not. I want that money for college, to buy stuff for my girlfriend and to give some to my mom. I do not want it for leisure for my self. That is what motivates me even though sometimes I see no results.
What keeps me fired up? This is my long held dream to have my own home business. Once I am successful I will be able to help others to achieve their dreams too. Also give to those who haven’t had the same opportunities cos they live in situations where they are incredibly poor. With wealth, can help others change their lives.

I’ve been skimming occasionally the stuff you have been sending em, but this time I actually watched your entire video. You will continue to have success un your business because you have crossed through the valley of the shadow of death and you know that you know what you know.
I too have been on a journey and I am also about to explode. I invite you to take a look at some of my stuff on you tube and if you are interested, I could give you access to some tools that you can try for free for 30 days. And let me know if I can be of any help to you.

I truly love your inspiring videos! You cut through all the rubbish & get to the real stuff. I know you’re on a new road trip at present & look forward to hearing (& seeing) more of your valuable insights. Thank you for all of your valuable information & motivation. I wish you all the best.
p.s. I love road trips. Clearing my head & getting some fresh air & ideas. I am due for another one! I thought I was the only crazy one LOL
Whoo Hooo Kim – you should take more road trips! Love how fired up you are – your energy is boundless! What keeps me fired up? It’s the continual learning process . . . if I don’t know how to do something – I go find out. Do the research and then apply it. It’s an exciting time to be building a home business. It’s people like you, Kim, who feed the fire within me – by your example, your teaching, your giving. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
