Embed YouTube IFrame
Up till early WordPress 3.0 versions embedding the new “iframe” embed codes from Youtube, Vimeo, Google and others was a pain in the rump.
Formerly the visual (TinyMCE) editor would remove the iframe codes as soon as you switched back from html to visual editor for security reasons. Because of this either a plugin or a raw code modification was needed to get them working.
Fortunately, in one of the more recent WP updates, YouTube (and other) iframe embed codes now work correctly in an WordPress.org blogs with no modifications or plugins.
Here is a quick demo:
Embedding an IFrame Video from YouTube into a WordPress.org Blog
As you can see, no special settings were required to get the youtube iframe video to display properly in the WordPress.org blog.
(I did have to refresh the page once, after hitting draft/publish, which is unusual but not a big deal. )
