Deleted Friend Alerts
For several years, the general population has clamored for a Facebook tool to see who unfriended them…
Unfortunately, that lead to a rash of fake apps that were full of malware but people couldn’t resist installing.
Today, my favorite Facebook extension, is proud to announce the arrive of this as a safe feature!
I’ve been with FB Purity for over three years now – and was avid in this beta testing – and I gotta say this is pretty nifty.
It’s not for everyone though because I tell ya there are just some things you may NOT want to know.
However, for a marketer, who may be left FOLLOWING an individual that unfriended them, taking up a valuable friend spot in the 5,000 cap (friends + page likes + follows), this will be useful to some!
I adore FB Purity and can’t recommend it highly enough!
Oh yeah, did I mention it’s free? However, if you find it useful, ya owe it to the developer to donate! ;)
If you’re not familiar with FB Purity, I suggest you stop over here and go through the video introduction I put together.
The current stable version 9.0 is here – so go grab this this tool now. It will be available in the stable version soon. I’ve had no trouble with the beta so you’ll be fine with it. Available for Firefox, Chrome, Opera & Safari.
If you’re not interested in this feature, like everything else, it’s easily able to be disabled in the admin panel with one simple check box.
As the little screenshot says – this shows people who are “missing” from your friend list. This may be people to disabled/deactivated their accounts, had FB temporarily or permanently delete their accounts, or unfriended or blocked you. Keep in mind that sometimes FB deactivates hacked accounts temporarily so “missing” may not be a personal offense.
FB Purity offers a huge number of other time-saving improvements for Facebook so be sure to check it out.
The control is in YOUR hands!

Simple Tech Tips For Marketing
PS: If you used FB Purity in the past and thought it was gone… it’s back. In three years, it’s been down three or four times due to FB blocking it. But the dev is amazing and always gets it back for us. Just gotta be patient.
