Where Oh Where…
Did That Delete Button Go???
There’s a Facebook graphic going around that ponders how much Mark Zuckerberg would like it if we walked in his house and moved all his furniture on a daily basis… and some days, Facebook feels like that!
Today, I noticed that Facebook had (again) moved the delete/report abuse options on spammy posts on Facebook pages.
Why? Well, its Facebook and they do silly stuff like that!
Here’s where to find the report/delete options for spam on your Facebook business pages!
(These are 3 places to delete the post from. All three places do the same thing and you only need to use one of them.)
Delete Spam Option 1: From the “Recent Posts By Others” mini-box
Delete Spam Option 2: From the “Recent Posts By Others” full-view
Delete Spam Option 3: From the isolated post view (achieved by clicking on the time-stamp or date in the prior view)
Facebook has fortunately reverted a prior change (which used a tiny drop-down on the time-stamp of isolated posts) back to the right-hand drop-down we expect. They have also added drop downs to the “Posts by Other” menu which is handy.
Hover your mouse over the item to make the little “x” or down-arrow appear, and then open it and you find the Delete and Report options nestled in this small menu!
Hope this helps!
