Happy Birthday Baby!
I was going to get on video today and bring the year full circle with another video, but my misty eyes just aren’t gonna manage a camera ready appearance today…
My what a powerful, incredible, sometimes crazy and stressful, absolutely “wow” kinda year its been.
It was officially one year ago today that I officially deemed this “blog thing” a go…
and now here a year later I sit… rather in awe!
I’ve got some other posts in the works…. a 2010 recap … a list of my 2010 top blogger commentators … discussions on what worked to get me here … and the usual fourth quarter metrics review… but all of that can wait…
This post is to really and sincerely tell you thank you for all of your generous support this year.
It hasn’t all been peaches and roses by a long stretch as some of you have seen glimpses of (and I’ll talk more about that later)… and your absolute steadfast commitment to standing by me has many times brought tears to my eyes.
I don’t have a lot of family, and you have become family for me.
As in any family, I have had a chance to get to know some here more than others but I can’t really explain adequately what this community has meant to me.
In this new year I look forward to helping more micro business owners discover what they can learn from bloggers, and more bloggers realize what they can learn from marketers, and more marketers learn what they need to learn about keeping it real… I’m here to help everyone navigate the sometimes confusing waters of technology and social marketing… I’m here to answer questions any time you will share them with me… and to serve you by continuing to draw the line and call out those marketers that are preying on those who’s only sin is needing to monetize their efforts or passions and do not deserve to be ripped off.
As a community, looking after each other, we can continue to ensure, and foster the success of, each and every individual that is honest in heart, willing to dig within themselves and do the work, and passionate about helping others, so they too will be able to achieve results that allow them to continue to do so more and more every year through the blessings of entrepreneurship.
I think you deeply for your faith, trust, belief and support. Every comment, every use of my affiliate links, every “can you help me”, every class registration, every “how do I do this”, every support request ticket, every mention on your blogs, every testimonial, every quietly sent message with a hug and show of support when life’s being rough, every shoutout, every generous act…. they have warmed my heart, given me strength, and reminded me of why I’m here… for you I am thankful.
May 2011 Be YOUR Year!
