A Public Profile
Many people find themselves hung up on the idea of needing to create content for their fanpage.
While it is true that you need to include some novel content from time to time, truth is that a Fan Page really should be an extension of what you are likely already doing on your profile (and need to move to your page).
When you think of your page as a public profile, it seems less intimidating. When you give yourself permission to share what your up to, whats new, what your working on, and to ask questions of those that see the page – your doing the most important step – being open and authentic.
Rather than use your page as a “platform” first use it as a “profile” – engaging others – sharing what your up to – asking open ended questions – and inviting conversation.
Then – and only then – because the cliche is true… people don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care… will people listen when you use it as a platform.
I invite you to connect with me throughout social media! Lets get to know each other!
