There’s a fairly serious database injection attack that’s hitting thousands of WP blogs on shared hosting.
I’d thought we had this one under control but apparently not. It’s an eval(unescape(“%64… style injection.
Be sure you have current database backups on hand. I do not know which hosts are being hit hardest as it seems relatively widespread.
Database based attacks are more annoying to clean up than all but perhaps an elusive plugin based attack and not something to take lightly.

Facebook Comment/ Replies Changes
Yup! Yet another change!
The (newer) groups style of replying to updates, which uses a lot of ajax and requires only an enter key to submit the comment, has been rolled out to everyone.
Now, instead of enter giving you a paragraph spacing, it submits your comments. So here’s the tricks:
First, holding down the SHIFT key while hitting enter will now create the desired spacing (without submitting the comment).
Second, using the little “x” (like would usually delete something) to the right side of the comment, will now open the comment for editing if used within a few seconds.
This is an “oops” fix, and after that time will delete the comment.
