Even though its a “working vacation” the upcoming back-to-back conferences have my mind already trying to be on a mental vacation!
I don’t know about you but for some reason it’s harder to focus when I could just spend my time packing and daydreaming, LOL…
One of the things I’m daydreaming about is the new sexy PC parts I ordered after my faulty hardware met a re-appearance of the stupid flash driver issues and lead to my webinar needing rescheduled. I’ll get that scheduled soon for ya!
Is there any fun, or even just working-fun, in your schedule in the near future? Drop me an email and tell me how things are going, would love to hear from you!
Here’s some of the companies and tools you’re going to be hearing more about from me soon that I’m really enjoying…
WP Subscribers – This plugin ROCKS for an all-in-one optin plugin. Yes, better than Subscribers Magnet AND Popup Dom AND some of the FB optin scripts. Definitely will hear more soon about this gem!
TSA Mastery – Okay so the page doesn’t tell you much, but TSA is a syndication based tribe community to help you get more exposure for your blog, more social proof, more backlinks and more leads using the power of working together. They are in fact, one of the oldest and most well established social syndication tribes and a community I serve as part of their strategy team!
Hubze – While I spend most of my time with the TSA Community, Hubze has a great new social community over 700 people strong. Several free tools and also the iFrame Engine (for FB) that I love and an upcoming Social Media course that I already have in my hands and looks HOT!
iWowWe – Free & Premium Video Email, Super affordable webinar and live conferencing rooms awesome support and a great affiliate program all wrapped in one. If you’re not using video in your marketing your LOSING business to your competition.
Much More! … I’ve got all kinds of new stuff to share with you in the coming weeks the only challenge is figuring out what to introduce you to first!
The WordPress Button has arrived!
While not yet available for Digg Digg, the new social media share button that everyone’s talking about is now available as a standalone plugin for WordPress.
I’ll be writing more about the upsides – and down sides – of Google’s latest move over the next two weeks.
However, my advice for now is that if you’re part of the blogging community, seo community, syndication community (see where I’m going with this?) that you install it AND that you help your friends by clicking theirs.
You may be familiar with Googles trackrecord (poor) with social projects in the past but at least for now we can not completely ignore this if we utilize SEO as they have now stated it WILL be used as a SEO ranking “signal” to help determine rank positioning.

Watch Closely for “Recommendations” possibly coming on Pages.
A “beta” feature is beginning to crop up on a number of pages and its worth keeping an eye on…
Similar to the recommendation application that “sounds like a good idea” yet tends to haunt many page owners because it lacks the ability to delete negative remarks…
A new “recommend this page” box has begun showing up in the right hand sidebar of some pages and sports many of the same problems.
Assuming that I see it return to my page before its launched publicly you had better bet your buttons that I will be reporting it as a BAD IDEA.
While it does give a true social feedback solution the fact that it is completely outside your control also makes it a prime way to target griefing at a business.
Imagine if your competition goes to fiverr and pays some kids 5$ to write 50 bad recommendations about you… See my point?
I invite you to connect with me throughout social media! Lets get to know each other!
