Hi Kimberly,

I just found you online from the top 50 post at thatMLMbeat.com
and seriously want to say congratulations for achieving first place,
and this post here is confirms even more to your good authority online.

I am new to the blogging world, and feel good about starting here,
especially with a fellow IT person like you…(I come from that field too)

Thanks for showing up on my radar!

Kim,

Okay, I am jealous.

Good for you. There is no doubt you deserve to be on that list. Well done.

Cool stuff Kim.

I find all these blogs really helpful myself. Big fan of traffic generation cafe, just started reading them. (As well as yours now!)

I found in my search to do more guest posting in the network marketing niche I had to expand outside of just the mlm niche. As not many people like you putting posts on their own blogs it would seem! So I found the blogging money niche to be pretty much right up the alley for me haha.

Gregory, the “network marketing industry” has had “self-branding” beaten into their soul, whereas the “blogging” community as a larger entity has not. What this means is that the mlm blogging community doesn’t quite yet understand how guest blogging can fit in their objectives. I do hope though that they retain a little of their caution though as it often disappoints me when blogging blogs become so guest post dense that the true voice of the author is overshadowed. I come to blogs for a person and when that persons voice isn’t the prevalent one I leave. It takes a careful hand to bring both into play. I’ve already decided that traditional style guest posting will not work here on my blog – but I had luck hosting video posts from Nicole with my content around them, and doing promotions that way and I’m definitely going to be doing more similar things to that in the future. I recently offered a selection of my longer-term subscribers that if they had any wordpress related tutorial videos that I didn’t already have topics for I’d love to look at them for including in a post. I’m definitely experimenting and looking for “cross-over” methods. Currently I’m busy trying to talk more of the mlm bloggers into going dofollow/commentluv/keywordluv so I have my hands full with that! (That said there are plenty of poor behaviors that marketers should not pick up from the blogging community as it explains why some of them really struggle with income.)
Thanks Gregory!
