Allows Klout To Peak Inside!
Now, Klout, one of the leaders in online social influence scoring, can now utilize the brand new Google+ API, to score your reach and influence on Google+!
Klout has said it will take a few days to get everyone’s data imported (after each person connects their G+ account to Klout) and then to generate a “normalized” score so get connected as soon as possible but then be patient on the score to stabilize.
Klout says: “We’re interested in measuring your ability to drive action: getting added to circles won’t increase your Klout score but getting comments and +1’s on your posts from influential users certainly will.”
Log into Klout and then in the upper navigation go to the little cog/gear icon, and in it’s drop-down select the “Connect Networks” link. Then on that page select to connect Google+
Klout asks for very limited permissions from your G+ connection and you can see them in the image below:
Once you have connected the account, you will see the tiny g+ icon on your profile page becomes lit up like this:

Taking The Headaches Out of Internet Marketing
PS: Google+ has just come out of closed “field trial” (alpha) and moved into open beta. The site still has a long way to go but it should be easier to get in the door now!
