Can You Do Me A Simple Favor?

I need a big favor!

Would you please be so kind as to look in your spam folder of your email account and find the emails I have sent you and mark them as not-spam?

An unexpected change of some techy stuff (IP addresses) this week suddenly caused my email deliverability to go crashing into the floor.

Each email that you mark as “not spam” sends a feedback signal to your email provider that tells them that something was marked wrong. So for each possible piece you can mark as “not spam” (if it’s already in your spam bin) you can help me get out of email purgatory!

While you’re in there, identify mail from other friends of yours and also mark “not spam” on those to help them out too!

I always look at my spam folder for good emails and I will make them not-spam.

Good news Kim, checked the SPAM folder and I didn’t any emails from you there. I even did a search for your name, and everything is either in the inbox or in a folder :-)

HI Kim, I did go and look in my spam folder and I didn’t find any e-mails in there from you. I actually never even look in there nor did I know the importance of clicking not spam.. You newsletter is one e-mail I always open.. Thanks for all you do Chery :)

I have found several mails in spam but these last 2 weeks I have not found any of ours Kim.
Hope this problem has been solved for you as I always mark it as non spam.

Kim, It all looks good. I quickly scan my spam feed and would notice if your emails fell there. And like Jose, I would mark it as non-spam and it would be solved.

Oh I guess it is a post for your subscribers. Hope they help you out of the spam messages soon. However, these spam mails have increased in number nowadays and the mail services also seem to act funny these days. They send mails to spam, which are important and keep mails in the inbox that are of no use.

I also checked in my spam folder. Not a one of your emails Kim has been directed there. But, I will keep checking.

Hi Kim, you’re not in my spam folder but I was surprised to see so many emails that are not spam in there. I marked those as not spam as suggested. I’m off to read your next post because this is definitely something I don’t understand. Thanks Kim!

Interesting topic. I never actually knew by marking email as “not spam” it would send some type of notification back to my email provider. I use GMail and I know Google, for the most part, tries to stay on top of stuff like this (filtering out SPAM).

With so much email in both my inbox and my SPAM folder, it’s tough for me to actually go sift through SPAM every day.

The Google mail platform provides the best spam filter to date that’s why most developers like myself morn the discontinuation of the free Google apps service they offered. As a rule of thumb for those who access the inbox from their smartphones, it is advisable to check the spam folder every second day for those mistakenly thrown in there.
