Have you ever wondered how to do picture-in-picture video where your picture (a video of you) appears in the corner of a screencast or slide cast video?
The picture-in-picture effect helps improve branding by improving the trust factor and increasing the amount of face-time that the viewer has with you or your brand.
You can get a 30 day free trial for either of these pieces of software from their respective websites. However, the best prices are often found on Amazon. (The links earlier go to my aff links on Amazon for these tools.)
And you’ll need a webcam to take advantage of the picture-in-picture recording.
Additionally, if you’re on a tight budget, Screencast-o-Matic may also offer this feature, and if so, it’s only $12 per year.
I am an avid Camtasia user and almost all of my video and audio work gets edited in Camtasia!
If you don’t need the picture of you to be dynamic, you can use YouTube’s “watermark” feature to upload a static image to display in the corner of all of your videos. This works great with logos but can be a picture of you.
