How To Easily Redirect Your WordPress Feed to FeedBurner or FeedBlitz

This Is Not The Feed Your Looking For…
Or Is It?

When chosing to use a service provider for our feeds… it’s of extreme importance that we get our built-in WordPress feed redirected to the new feed.

Prior, we’ve talked about how to redirect your feed using some htaccess code… but fortunately, there’s an easier way to redirect your feed!

Whether you’re using the old FeedBurner service or the newer FeedBlitz service, this tutorial is going to show you how to set up an easy to use plugin to get your feed redirected to the feed service of your choice!

You can learn more about FeedBlitz by visiting here. (aff)  (FeedBlitz RSS service if free. They also offer premium email newsletter tools.)

The WordPress.org plugins I mentioned were FeedBurner FeedSmith Extend (old) and FD Feedburner Plugin (newer).

Getting your feed correctly redirected benefits both your readers (convenience) and yourself (SEO) and is certainly worth time time to get it done right!

Are you using your native WordPress feed? FeedBurner? Or have you checked out FeedBlitz yet?

Let me know in the comments below!

That plugin looks really great. I’ve been using Feedburner since day 1, so thanks for sharing the redirect feed plugin.

Great work, Kim.
