Report The Profile
That’s Pretending To Be Me!
Dude! Seriously, no one else could EVER be THIS sexy! So lets knock off the impersonation stuff and you get your own gig, capiche?
Ever had one of those days?
As amusing as the word doppelganger is most of us would rather not have one… its rather creepy.
Here’s how to report the problem of someone impersonating (pretending to be) you on Facebook.
First, visit the offending profile.
Locate the gear (options) icon and open the drop-down and select “Report/Block”.
Once you click on the Report/Block option, another menu will open as a popup:
Here, select the appropriate option from the top of the box and then in the lower section select “This person is pretending to be someone” and in the drop-down select “Me”.
That’s right, pretending to be ME will get ya reported! Facebook can’t stand any more sexiness than this at once! ;)
(You’ll also see options to report fake profiles that are pretending to be other people, things, places or are griefing/spamming. Use as needed.)
