for iOS & Android
SnapSeed is a free image editor that Google purchased and it works like a champ.
On my Android, if I take a picture, and it’s either too dark, or otherwise needs minor color correcting… I use “Send To” and then send it to SnapSeed (app).
Once the image is in SnapSeed, click the pencil to open the editor options. Then I select “Tune Image”.
The menu items for “Tune Image” are on a LONG-PRESS on the image.
Long-press and you’ll find brightness, saturation, contrast, ambiance, shadows, warmth, and highlights.
Select which one and then drag your finger left or right over the image to increase or decrease the value.
You can also pinch-zoom to zoom in or out on the image.
Very handy and lightweight little free app that I use at least weekly for minor quick edits.
Then be sure to save the image and you will locate it in your Gallery in it’s own folder titled SnapSeed.
Do you edit images on your phone or tablet? What’s your favorite tools?
Let me know in the comments below and be sure to check out SnapSeed.
