Don’t Get Yourself
Google+ Account Banned!
Like Facebook, Google+ has a strict single-account policy… but what is a person with multiple GMail accounts and Google Apps accounts supposed to do?
Fortunately, the answer is a lot more straight forward than it appears at first.
Any profile may have up to six pages before it is verified and more if Google grants it verification status (their call, not ours).
Well that’s great but what about all these other accounts?
Fortunately, as long as you haven’t dug yourself a hole and already created multiple G+ accounts, it’s very easy to tie everything together by adding all the additional email addresses to your existing Google+ account (which lets Google know they are all “associated” with you).
1. Log into your G+ account and click on the picture of yourself in the black bar in the upper right.
2. Then open Account Settings.
3. Click Edit under the current Email setting.
4. Then on the next page, add the gmail address, google apps address or even non-Google email accounts to the box.
I also suggest, if you have a primary account on something like hotmail, etc that you add it here, so that when someone imports their address book, it connects correctly to you regardless.
5. Be sure to click save!
If you have already created multiple G+ accounts, you have a lot more work on your hands to get everything correctly connected but it is important for avoiding getting a beating with the ban-stick later!
I suggest you log in right now, connect all the additional addresses you have, if for no other reason than to make yourself much more find-able to your current network, friends and family.
