One of the main problems I see with new and want-to-be bloggers is how to start. Most just start writing post after post and after a while hope someone will land on their blog.
However, to have a successful blog and eventually make money with it, it is better to have a plan. Planning your blog and more importantly, the launch of it, can make your blog a hit from day one.
One blogger that did that recently, with a great blog and a launch strategy is Eugene, with his Content Strategy Hub. If you haven’t heard of him yet, just hop over to his blog and see for yourself.
Of course, what else would someone who launched his new blog with a big bang help the rest of us with, but – do the same.
Eugene turned his knowledge into a guide, where he explains in details how he did it, so you can replicate his success.
The main lesson you will take from this guide is how to strategically launch your blog, create content that is worth reading and then promote it.
The guide contains some really useful tips and ideas you won’t read elsewhere. A little bit over 90 pages of useful content!
What I liked
My favorite thing were bonuses. The guide is good but the bonuses are exactly what I like – 100% actionable advice. My favorite bonus is the Getting started worksheet, perfect for those that are stuck with no ideas.
What I didn’t like
Well, I gave this guide 4 out of 5 stars (plugin won’t let me do 4.5) and here is the reason:
At the beginning, there is a “fast flow of info”, where Eugene is introducing you to some terms and definitions. But after a couple of dozen of pages, I realized it wasn’t the introduction, it was the actual content. So what is the problem? The info he is presenting there goes through a lot of topics and only touches on them. That part could have been more detailed, especially if the person reading the book is just starting with the online ventures. Instead of having to search for more info on a few mentioned items, they could have been explained in the guide with more details.
The guide is great and so are the bonuses. Information is based on practical experience and a big launch of blog that was a success from day one.
There are some very well known names that took a part in this project, and Eugene will tell you how to do the same. Some of the names you can see in the guide are Mark Schaefer (author of The Tao of Twitter), Danny Brown, Marcus Sheridan, Corbett Barr and Robert Dempsey.
So don’t miss it and miss your opportunity to make it big. Note that you can apply the tips from the guide on an existing blog, you will not have to create a new one :)
One free copy for you
Eugene was nice enough to let me give away one copy of the guide to you. So if you want this great guide, enter using the giveaway widget below.
