I have written before about lousy ways to contact a blogger when submitting a guest post. But there is another thing that pokes me in the eye with a lot of guest bloggers.
Every time someone submits a guest post for consideration here (except for people I invited to guest post), I get pretty much the same message with the post “Let me know when is the post going to be published and I will need 2 links from the content“.
Let me explain something, if you are considering submitting your guest post on this blog. There is a big difference between WHEN and IF. Which means, you should say “Let me know IF you will publish the post”. Because in 99% of the cases in the last year – I am not!
Also, you can not ask for certain amount of links in certain spots when I already tell you what you can get by guest posting here. Unless you are a friend of mine that I already have a connection with, like Sharon for example, that can have several links in her bio.
