Take Action: Add Your Voice to Keep the Internet #freeandopen

web globe magnifying glassA Free And Open Web
Depends On Me

Tell the world’s governments you support a free and open web at http://www.google.com/takeaction

Starting December 3rd, the world’s governments are meeting behind closed doors at the ITU to discuss the future of the Internet. Some governments want to use this meeting in Dubai to increase censorship and regulate the Internet.

Tell the world’s governments you support a free and open web at http://www.google.com/takeaction. Then spread the word with #freeandopen.

It is ours and it is free.
A free and open world
depends on a free and open web.
And a free and open web
depends on me.

Please Take Action…

This is an intense subject because there are countries with substantial influence that want to regulate the internet. Can’t wait to see what happens and how it will affect sites like yours and mine.

Hi Kim, Thanks for sharing this vital info which I will definitely share. It’s hard to imagine all the ways we would be harmed if governments or corporations start restricting our access to the internet.

This subject is certainly a very serious to alot of us who read your blog. The Internet has become our lifeblood and any intervention by the “Big Brother” types could be very detrimental to alot of us. Thanks for sharing this with us.
