What Is In A Name?
How Do Name Your Info Product?
Did you know that the name of your information product alone can sell it?
Your product’s name is vitally important. Think about how you buy books and information online.
You probably type your keywords or keyword phrase into your search engine of choice.
You scan the results.
Maybe you refine your keywords or you click on a few sites that look promising.
You scan the headline or copy.
If the page is convincing you’ll read more and/or click to buy the product. But what’s the one thing you look at on the page that you’re probably not conscious of?
The book’s title.
You take a look at it the first time you scan the page. If the title doesn’t capture your attention immediately you’re going to click away.
So What Makes a Good Product Title?
Take a look at these bestselling book titles and see what they have in common:
* Rich Dad Poor Dad
* Think and Grow Rich
* The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
* How to Win Friends and Influence People
They all imply a really strong benefit right in the title. Head over to ClickBank or any ebook retailer and check out the titles of the best sellers. You’ll notice the same thing. They have benefits in the title.
Keywords in your title are an extra bonus.
Once you’ve created your product, spend a little extra time brainstorming a great, benefit driven, title. You’ll be glad you did when the money starts rolling in.
